I am new to the area, and AVM's number was passed on by a local friend.I just needed a new clamp on my power steering hose, as the current one had failed, and fluid was spraying all over my motor.Adam brought me over the next morning. Very quick service!Now, this was a quick job- but super essential for this lady with no tools.Well...he wouldn't take my money.What? What? Adam is absolutely, hands down an exceptional person and mechanic.It is a rare these days to find a business that looks at “ how can I best help you” customer service VS how can I best make money here service.He is incredibly honest, pleasant, and very willing to go that extra mile to make sure he has given you his all.I have seen him twice now and he has already saved me from a huge unnecessary and very costly repair assessment I received from someone else. I will NOT be going anywhere else. What a Blessing!

Adam at AVM is amazing!! If I could give him 1,000 stars, I would. We were looking for a mechanic to get work done on our cars and found Adam and it’s the best decision we ever made. He is such a genuine person and an overall nice guy. Doesn’t try to rip you off and recommends what’s best for the life of your vehicle.I will never go anywhere else, oil changes, tire changes, engine repairs, and everything else will be done through him!!Thank you Adam!!!Everyone use AVM auto for all your car needs!!! I came to know Adam with AVM when I purchased my old Van from a family friend. Adam had been servicing this vehicle for some 8+ years, and the former owner couldn't say enough about Adam's work ethics, quality of service etc. I of coarse asked Adam to stay on as my mechanic, as he knew the vehicle so well and came with such a good recommendation...he always did a great job!So, when it came time for me to downsize to a SUV, Adam was so very helpful, and patient answering my endless array of questions, about the vehicle I was interested in purchasing. His knowledge of the brand of vehicle and history of maintenance issues was what helped me make the decision to buy this perfect vehicle for my needs. Once I got the okay from a vehicle inspection he did, it was a done deal!I have been driving my new used vehicle for some 3 months and it has been everything I thought it would be and more... runs great, no issues... Firstly, if you’re looking for a mechanic you can trust and who will explain your vehicle’s mechanical pro’s and cons to you in language you can understand, look no further, Adam is your guy. My experience has been nothing but positive based on the work I’ve had done at AVM. So much so, I’ve recommended Adam to several of my co-workers and they can’t thank me enough for the referral. While needing to have work done on your vehicle is never something you necessarily look forward to, I’ve found Adams knowledge, calming demeanor and positive personality actually make vehicle maintenance and enjoyable experience.

We have gone to avm automotive a few times with Adam working on my spouse and my vehicle. He is very much so an honest mechanic he knows what he is doing with great prices and quality work. Very efficient in responding to all my questions and concerns. Work is done in a timely manner and have had no issues since he finished working on our vehicles. Are you licensed?
Yes. Our technicians are fully licensed in the province of Alberta, and many also have their Red Seal. Our shop is licensed with AMVIC.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. We offer warranty on parts and labour for one year or 20,000 km of regular usage.
Do you take “walk in” customers?
Unfortunately it is very rare that we can accommodate “walk in” customers into our scheduled hours. We encourage you to make an online booking request to schedule a time dedicated to you and your vehicle.
Where are you located?
We are located 20 minutes east of Calgary, right next to the hamlet of Lyalta and the Muirfield Lakes Golf Course, an easy drive from North or South parts of the city.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, E-transfer, and all major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
Do you offer courtesy vehicles or shuttles during repairs?
We do not currently offer courtesy vehicles or shuttle service during repairs, however you are free to visit The Mercantile just down the road where AVM customers receive 10% food and beverage purchases at the cafe while they wait for their vehicles.
